ICT NEWS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF FORTHCMONING FP7

   ICT news within the framework of forthcmoning FP7

Dear All,

I would like to inform you for the following:


1.
I kindly remind you that the IST2006 Conference will take place in Helsinki on 21st to 23rd November 2006 (https://ec.europa.eu/information_society/istevent/2006/index_en.htm)
In case that you are going to participate please arrange your reservation and tickets as soon as possible.


2.
It will take place an ICT Conference in Konstantinoupolis (Turkey) on 29&30 January 2007. It will be a European Confrence and will deliver presentations for ICT in FP7 and for Technology Platforms several officials of the European Commission, moreover representatives from European Investment Bank will contribute at the Conference.
Organisers are: TUBITAK, TAGES and TBV and supported by European Commission and the networks of EASIER and SEE Innovation projects.
In the Conference are expecting to participate approximately 350 ICT companies and/or Research or Academic organisations and SMEs from 20 European countries

There will be
15 Networking Sessions bringing together SMEs, ICT companies and Research and Academic Institutes having project ideas and/or collaborate on the subjects specific to FP7 ICT 1st Call during the conference. In these sessions, you will have the opportunity to present your project ideas, find partners and meet people who are looking for partners. Due to the starting of 7th Framework Programme, the topics of the 1st ICT Call of FP7 will be the main focus in the sessions.
  • The accommodation expenses (Airport transfer, lunch, dinner included) of the 'project idea owners' will be met by' EASIER and See Innovation' Projects.
  • Travel expenses are in the responsibility of project idea owners and will not be met by the project.

    'Project idea owners' will meet potential partners and other project owners during the networking sessions and have the opportunity to collaborate with them.

    In case that you would like to participate in the above Conference and networking sessions please
    submit your 'project ideas' via conference web site www.ictconference-istanbul.org on December 1st 2006, at the latest.

    Selected project ideas to be presented in the networking sessions will be announced by December 29
    th 2006 in the conference web site.
